Create employee dashboards in Quick Base

Lets create a Foreman dashboard that shows a calendar

Landpick image

In this case, each Crew has one Foreman

Landpick image

We will use the Table Relationship to pass their Quick Base account to the Crew

Landpick image

First, invite this Foreman to the app

Landpick image

Once account exists, connect it to the Team record

Landpick image

Now we need to pass the Quick Base account field into the Crews table

Landpick image

To create this lookup, go to the Table-to-table relationships in Crews

Landpick image

Add a lookup field on the Team to Crews connection

Landpick image

Now, if the Foreman's Team record has a Quick Base account, it will pass it to the Crews record

Landpick image

As you should see, the field is now on the Crews table

Landpick image

Lets create the Foreman homepage

Landpick image

Name and Save

Landpick image

Edit the Foreman role's Homepage here

Landpick image

Do this by using Test as a User

Landpick image

Now we can test

Landpick image

Now add the report to the Foreman Homepage

Landpick image

Filter scheduled jobs where Foreman's Quick Base account = Current User

Landpick image

Here I duplicated the normal Schedule calendar by using Save As

Landpick image

Now lets create the Calendar report for the Foreman's homepage

Landpick image

Do this by creating a lookup on Scheduled Jobs from Crews

Landpick image

Now we need to pass the Quick Base user field to Scheduled Jobs for filtering

Landpick image

Now it'll show exactly what the Foreman's experience will be

Landpick image

Works!

Have fun!
