Use Quick Base Pipelines to automate adding records

Lets add these crews automatically

    The goal is to add a crew for each Active Foreman

    Create a Pipeline Use "Record Created" Trigger

    For this Quick Base Pipeline, we'll create a separate User token

    Landpick image

    First, lets enter the Quick Base realm

    Landpick image

    Next you'll need your User token which has permission to add records

    Landpick image

    Manage user tokens can be found in My Preferences page

    Name your Token and assign it to the App

    Landpick image

    Copy and paste the Token into the Pipeline connection

    Select the Table you want to trigger the next steps

    Specify fields you'll need in the next steps

    For this example we'll need Active Foreman (Status & Classification)

    Here we can specify the conditions required to proceed

    Without this Query, every new record would create a Crew

    Landpick image

    Classification is Foreman And Status is Active

    Landpick image

    Now we can add the next step, Create Record Action

    Landpick image

    Create Crew record and pass the Record ID of step 1 into Related Foreman

    Landpick image

    Duplicate the Quick Base Pipeline and modify one for Record Update, if required

    Updating the record will also create a crew (lets try it)

    We'll watch this pipeline run and test it to make sure it works as expected
